Changing Group Owners for Specialty Assemblies, Chapters or Committees
Please note that group ownership for Specialty Assemblies, Committees, and Chapter groups are automatically assigned to leaders of those respective groups  -- chapter officers, committee members, and SA governing council members.

AORN members who are listed in AORN's member database as chapter officers, chapter board members, SA governing council members, or AORN committee members are automatically made group owners of their group.

Changing Chapter Group Owners
To change who is listed as a group owner in your chapter's group, you'll need to update your chapter officers on aorn.org. Updating of chapter officers should only be done by chapter board members.

Please allow 24 hours for the group officer changes to be reflected in your group owner list.

It is technically possible to remove or add chapter group owners via the Owner Settings page on ORNurseLink.org. However, after 24 hours, and ORNurselink.org syncs with our member database, those group owners you added or removed will be deleted or re-added.

The only way to permanently change group ownership is by updating your officers on aorn.org.

Changing Specialty Assembly Group Owners
Please contact the Specialty Assembly Governance Coordinator to update Specialty Assembly group owners.
