How to Find a Member
You'll notice at the top of every page on OR Nurse Link is a link to Find a Member.
The Find a Member link limits your search to only member profiles, rather than searching through the entire community's content with the main Community Search.
After you click Find a Member, you'll be taken a People Search page.
Enter the name of the member you're searching for, and you'll be presented with a page of results.
If you've entered the full name of the member, and you're not coming up with any search results, try using just their first or last name. Sometimes fewer search terms will yield more results.
If you're still not getting any search results, a couple things may be happening:
1) The member you're searching for has let their AORN membership lapse, and they've never logged in to OR Nurse Link before. (Logging into the site "activates" a non-member's profile and makes it visible for people to see in search results.)
2) Or the member you're searching for does not have an email address on file. OR Nurse Link profiles are created around an email address, and if a member has not provided us in the past with an email address, OR Nurse Link cannot create a profile for them. The member should call customer service at 800-755-2676 ext. 1 to have their email address added to their AORN member account. Once they login, they'll be added to the member search index.
