My Documents
You have the ability to upload documents and files to your profile to share with the community.
For example, if you'd like to share a policy with another member, you could upload it to My Documents, and others could download the policy from your profile.
The documents in My Documents are independent from the ones you
upload to the Resource Center or a group.
So, any documents that you upload to the Resource Center or a group will not appear under your My Documents section.
Upload a Document
Click on
My Documents
in the My Network box on the left-hand side of any page.
Choose
Upload Document.
Click
Browse
to find and choose the file on your computer.
Enter a Title
, and then check the
Access Type
box for the level of privacy you'd like.
Public documents are available to the entire OR Nurse Link community, and My Colleages will only show the document to community members that you've accepted as colleagues.
Click
Save Changes.
Just about any type of document file is acceptible to upload -- PDFs, Word Documents, PowerPoint Presentations, Pages files, etc. The maximum file size is 5MB.
Once you've uploaded your document, community members can access it by going to your profile, which they can access by clicking on your name anywhere on the site.
Once on your profile page, members can click
View Documents
.
Deleting a Document
To delete a document, hover your mouse over the title of the document. A pull-down menu will appear, and chose
Delete Document
.
