Subscribe to Discussions Via RSS Feeds
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, which is a web technology that allows users to subscribe to frequently updated works -- such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video -- in a standardized format.
RSS feeds allow you to read all of your daily news and information in one place (called an RSS Reader) without having to visit individual websites.
Here's a simple video explaining what RSS is and how to use it.
You can subscribe to discussion forums and individual discussion thread using RSS by clicking on the RSS icon located at the top of each discussion forum and thread.
Depending on what third-party RSS reader you use (
Google Reader
is the most popular one) the steps to add the feed to your reader will vary.
