Subscribe to a Group Discussion Listserv
Subscribe to a Group Discussion Board's Email Listserv
Most groups' discussion forums on ORNurseLink will be email listserv enabled. That means that you can subscribe to a discussion forum and start, read, and reply to discussions from your email program.
All specialty assembly, chapter, and state council groups have their email listservs enabled.
To receive a group's discussions via email, you must subscribe. You can subscribe by clicking on the envelope icon at the top of the group's discussion forum, which can be found on the group's Discussions tab.
You will then be taken to a page that will allow you to choose how frequently you receive discussion emails. Choose an option and click OK.
After you've successfully subscribed to the forum, the envelope icon will be greyed-out and have a red X on it. You will now start receiving listserv emails.
Not all groups have their listservs enabled. You can tell if a group has its listserv enabled if it has an envelope icon at the top of its discussion forum, which you can find on the group's Discussions tab.
If the discussion board simply has an alarm bell icon, it means that it's possible to
set up email alerts,
but you cannot reply to or start discussions via email.
