Join a Group 

Join an Open Group
Some groups on OR Nurse Link are open to all members, and your membership will automatically be approved.



Open groups will have a Join This Group button and they will state "This group is open to the public."

Click the Join This Group button, and you'll automatically be added to the group.

Once you’ve joined, this group will appear on your My Groups page.

Join a Closed Group
Some groups on OR Nurse Link are closed groups that you can join only if the group owner approves your request -- these groups will be indentified in the About This Group box with the label: "This is a privately managed group.



To join a closed group like this, click the Join This Group button, and your request to join the group will be sent to the group owner via the OR Nurse Link inbox.

When your requst to join has been accepted, the group will appear in your My Groups section of My Network.

Joining Specialty Assemblies, Chapters or Committees
Some groups on OR Nurse Link will not have the Join This Group button, like Chapters, Specialty Assemblies, and AORN Committees.



Membership of those groups is handled by your AORN membership profile in AORN's database.
