Sending Email to Colleagues You can send a message to a colleague directly from your Inbox by clicking Compose New Message.
In the To field, start typing in the first or last name of your recipient.As you type, the pull-down menu will populate with the members whose names contain the letters you've typed.Please note that it may take a few seconds for the pull-down menu to appear with a list of names. If no names appear in the list and you've typed in both a first and last name together, try using just a first name or just their last name -- sometimes using less information will yield more results.Click on the name you'd like add, and their name will now appear in the To field.Repeat for additional recipients.Type your message and subject.When you are finished composing, click Send Message. Once sent, your message will appear in the Sent folder in your Inbox.Whenever you send a message through your OR Nurse Link inbox, the recipient will receive an alert to their external email that they have message in their Inbox.
At no time are external email addresses revealed to anyone in the community.Contacting Members from Profiles You can also contact members by clicking Contact anywhere their profile is found on the site.
The Contact link is found on a member's profile and also in the bubble that will pop up if you hover over a member's name on the site.After you click Contact, the Send a Message pop-up box will appear and you can compose your message.Issues with Composing New MessagesIf you use Internet Explorer 6 to access OR Nurse Link, there are compatibility issues with this older browser, and you may experience a strange page layout when you're trying to compose a new message.
